No, we feel that allowing your dog to mix with all sizes is the best way to improve your dogs social skills.
Bringing your dog on the first day is often more nerve wracking for the owner than the dog. All dogs, and owners, are asked to arrive at 0730 for the first day, this is to make sure our new guest greet the existing pack as they walk through the door, rather than being greeted by a sea of faces which can in some cases be off-putting.
A gentle introduction for a nervous/anxious dog is very important and we will do all we can to make sure your dog settles as quickly as possible.
We think of day one as a trial day. Allowing your dog a full day to settle in we will give you a full and honest assessment at pick up time. Our main priorities are the welfare of both your dog and our other guests in our care.
The cost is just £23.00 per day. You are more than welcome to bring your dog for half a day, however the rate will still be £23.00
Yes you do need to book. We have a limit as to how many dogs we can take per day. The closest comparison is to think of us like a child’s nursery. All our visitors come at least one day a week and normally on set days.
South Ribble Council and Defra have set the maximum number of dogs in our care at any one time at 32.
We would need you to bring your dogs collar, lead and food if your dog has any special dietary requirements. In addition we would need to see your dogs vaccination record card.
